Course Offerings for Easter 2008

PD-69 The Book of James: "A Right Strawy Epistle"  It has traditionally been called "The Letter of James." I would have called it, "The Proverbs of James." Luther called it, "A right strawy epistle." Is that really what it is - worthless straw rather than nourishing wheat? Come and find out for yourself. - Pastor Hohenstein

PM-59 Conversations with Dr. Fred Danker  In this class Dr. Danker applies his mastery of Greek literature to the "big pictures" of our faith, i.e, Who is God? How does God operate? How did the Mediterranean world of the New Testament understand God and how do we translate that into today's world?

PG-52 Pastoral Care  This class helps students learn to convey the Gospel to people experiencing spiritual or emotional pain.

PG-53 Religion and Politics in American History  This course explores how the various religious traditions have influenced and been influenced by American politics from colonial times to today.
