We BelieveAs members of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America, we confess Christ as Lord and Savior and the Gospel as the power of God for the salvation of all who believe.
In the Sacrament of the Altar, the Lord Jesus Christ is truly present in the bread and wine. Jesus invites all the faithful to join him at his table. In this Sacrament, God offers forgiveness of sins, strengthening of faith and the promise of eternal life. Unity Lutheran Church welcomes all Christians to receive our Lord's Body and Blood, to share in the Holy Communion with us.
Prospective MembersChoosing a church for membership is a very big decision. We are pleased that you've found our website, but we would like to meet you in person! At Unity we openly welcome all people to come and join us for worship and Bible Study. We're confident you'll find the warm, caring and close-knit family church environment you're looking for.
Family Histories FoundRecently, family histories were found in Unity's archives. These have not been updated for 30 years, but still contain information on family events in the church - parent's names, mothers' maiden names, children, baptism dates and locations, marriage dates, etc. If you would like this information, please call Carolyn Altepeter at (314) 837-4674. Since we need to verify your identity regarding this information, please have some of your parents vital statistics available.
